First off, making money online with mlm is nothing like the tradition mlm sales and recruiting methods you may know of. I'm sure we've all had a friend in the past who has joined up with some mlm company before and tried to get get us to come out to an opportunity meeting. And if any of you have tried mlm in the past as I have, well you know how much fun that is. The very first thing you are told to do is to go out an get all your friends and family involved. Now once you've tried to sell everyone you know your water filter/ health care product/ soap - home shopping club/ etc. and most say 'thanks but no thanks', then you have to start approaching strangers. Well, really most people who aren't natural salespeople are uncomfortable with trying to sell their friends something even if they do believe in it. Very often, the very few at the top who are making great money will hype up the opportunity and potential rewards. And it's true that over 90 % will fail, and only a small number of great salesmen will succeed.
Online it's a whole different ball game. Sure all my friends know that I'm working online to try and make money. Some have been interested enough to ask what I'm doing, but I haven't approached one of them with my opportunity. Why? you may ask. That's easy, I'm doing all my marketing online. Though I could be approaching my friends and sharing the opportunity, I'd much rather let them come to me if they are interested, and of course the proof is in the pudding. I must be making money online myself in order to prove to all these people that it really does work, before I waste their time with yet another opportunity that sadly often don't turn out to be very successful.
Now I can do my marketing with a clear conscience. The only email I'll ever send anyone regarding my business opportunities will be those that have already opted in, or asked to receive more information.
I've just started using my new eResponder from GVO. I'm proud to say all the emails I send my referrals and opt in lists will all be spam compliant and contain an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each one.
In my search for ways of making money online, I discovered affiliate marketing, and some of the nicest commissions and residuals to be made that I have found come from web hosting companies. I'm currently using two systems to refer others to web hosting, and also Global Virtual Opportunities' awesome suite of internet marketing tools.
It's a no brainier really. Almost everyone interested in making money online, will at some point need a website, or at least hosting for their affiliate site or splash pages, Wordpress blogs, etc.
My favorite system to promote is the Acme People Search program. I simply give away free People Search Engines, that can be used to make money online with. It's a simple 3 step system. The first step is free, to create your own search engine, and affiliatize it with Clickbank, HD Publishing, and My Life, who will each pay you commissions when others use your search engine to find people with.
Step 2 is my favorite. This is where my referrals are offered an opportunity to make even more money with their SE's and brand it with their own domain name, and get web hosting for their site. Since I have completed all the upgrades and got my Super Affiliate Switch flipped on, I can offer my referrals either Hostgator, or Lunar Pages as a first choice for their web hosting. These will pay me $50 - $125 per referral depending on my monthly volume with HG, or $65 - 80 per with Lunar. Even though both of these companies have excellent hosting at great prices, they do ask for a small lump payment initially. If my referrals balk at having to make that financial commitment right away, the the second choice I give them is GDI.
Global Domains International is a popular web host due to it's affiliate program. It offers basic web hosting including domain name registration, for $10 per month with a no money down, free 1 week trial period to sign up. The nice part is for every person you refer who hosts a site with GDI, you will receive $1 per month. So, as you can see, you only need 10 referrals and your own account is paid for. Then get more and you begin to profit with monthly residual income. Also GDI has a fantastic bonus feature where if you sign up 5 or more people in the same week, you receive a $100 US. commission.
Now, to really sweeten the pot, Acme People Search has added GVO as an income stream, based on their value added marketing tools and awesome affiliate program as well. GVO really rocks, and I think will soon become my biggest and most enduring way of making money online.
The other system I use is free to join and use and is called The New Rich Report. This system promotes both GDI and GVO as well as any other product or affiliate site that you want. New Rich contains an extremely valualbe, yet free 'Success Guide'. This guide provides step by step internet marketing tutorials on all of the most effective ways to advertise online. I highly reccomend this guide to anyone no matter what they are trying to promote, to learn about all the differnet ways of making money online.
